SUIHO: DRAGON CHASING THE MAGIC PEARL By Yonai Suiho (1892-1970), signed Suiho with seal Suiho Japan, first half of the 20th century, Taisho (1912-1926) to Showa era (1926-1989) Ink, watercolors, and gold paint on silk. Mounted as a hanging scroll within a silk brocade. Finely painted with delicate brushstrokes to depict a three-clawed dragon catching a magic pearl, its sinuous body emerging from misty clouds.
