YUKO: AN AMUSING SHUNGA WOOD NETSUKE OF OKAME AND HYOTTOKO By Yuko, signed Yuko Japan, 19th century Finely carved to depicts Okame and Hyottoko seated in a compact composition. To one side the figure shows the face of Okame with her characteristic round, cheerful face and smiling expression, while the other side depicts Hyottoko, rendered with his distinctive puckered mouth. Himotoshi underneath, signed YUKO. HEIGHT 3.8 cm
