Chinese Export Spanish Market 'Cathedral of Seville' Lobed Platter ca. 1775; depicting the Sacristia Mayor of Seville Cathedral to the right, surrounded by a walled architectural enclosure complete with battlements and towers, with a lady punting a sampan to the left, in front of a blue and orange rock behind which grows large flower sprays with peony and lotus blossoms, the bird flying above a carp fish and two ducks swimming in the river; decorated with cobalt blue enamel scrolling floral border; length 15 1/2 in.
