Standing female figure in flounced peplos robes holding a staff in her left hand and with her right hand extended (absent); the face carefully modelled, with silver applied to the eyes; crescent tiara above the palla with undulating tendril ornament; bracket to reverse for attachment. Cf. Rolland, H., Bronzes Antiques de Haute Provence, Paris, 1965, item 131, for type. 272 grams total, 10.2 cm (4 in.). From the collection of a gentleman, acquired on the London art market in the 1990s.
