Dish of grand proportions, expertly decorated with a central iron-red dragon leaping from underglaze blue turbulent waves. The cavetto and exterior are masterfully painted with multiple writhing dragons amidst auspicious clouds, all bordered by a classic wave motif at the rim. The reverse features an underglaze blue seal mark of Qianlong within a double square, indicative of high-quality porcelain manufacture and formal aesthetic.
