Vase of elegant baluster form, the body brilliantly decorated with a dense ground of pink enamel sgraffito floral scrolls interrupted by large, scalloped cartouches containing lush botanical sprays. The elongated neck is uniquely adorned with spiraling bands of contrasting geometric and floral motifs, lending a sense of dynamic movement to the composition. This vessel displays masterful control of overglaze palettes, finished with a finely rendered brass rim at the mouth. Qianlong mark. Qing dynasty.
