A collection of four English silver napkin rings, each featuring the badge of the 84th (York and Lancaster) Regiment of Foot. Each example is by a different maker and of a different date; please refer to photographs. Each ring is further engraved with a number. Comprising of (1) napkin ring with London city mark, maker’s mark of Hunt & Roskell Ltd, date letter for 1912, and an apparent inventory number 26; (1) napkin ring with London city mark, maker’s mark of Hunt & Roskell Ltd, date letter for 1902, and an apparent inventory number 18; (1) napkin ring with London city mark, maker’s mark of Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co. Ltd, date letter for 1924, and an apparent inventory number 39; and (1) napkin ring with Sheffield city mark, maker’s mark of Walker & Hall, date letter for 1929, and an an apparent inventory number 47. Total approx. weight of the (4) napkin rings is 4.84 troy oz (gross). From a Manhattan, NY estate.
