A men's vintage Oyster Perpetual stainless steel and 14kt yellow gold watch, Ref. #1601. This Rolex, manufactured in 1970 (based on the serial number: 2445660), features a 36mm stainless steel case (holes), a Rolex stainless steel 1601 caseback, acrylic crystal, 14kt yellow gold fluted bezel, silvered dial, applied gold baton hour markers under Tritium "T Swiss T" lume applique dots, luminous gold hands, and a central gold sweep seconds hand. It is fitted with an aftermarket two-piece leather strap and a gold-tone tang/buckle. Powered by a fine Swiss-made Rolex Cal. 1570 26-jewel automatic movement (in-house), it offers a 48-hour power reserve. From a New Britain, CT estate.
