Ca. AD 1600. A collection of three glazed terracotta figures, including, from left to right: a robed attendant standing upright on a stepped hexagonal plinth, wearing a tall crested helmet with flanking ear guards and a long belted robe, holding a rectangular tablet at the chest; and two armoured soldiers, each on a matching plinth and wearing helmets of the same type with high collars and layered armour with shoulder guards and scale-modelled cuirasses over long robes, one with a shield held at the front and a sword, the other with a long sword held diagonally across the body. Size: 370-400mm x 110-135mm; Weight: 5kg Provenance: UK private collection; formerly acquired in the early 1990s in Hong Kong.
