Ca. AD 618 - 907. A large figure standing erect wearing a loosely draped pleated garment with beaded swags over the forearms, segmented hairstyle held with a diadem, right arm raised in gesture of reassurance and left hand holding a phial; standing on a lotus-flower base; separate tiered base. Size: 106.5cm; Weight: 55kg. Provenance: Ex West Country Collection and latterly Acquired on the London art market in the 2000s.
