Ca. AD 300 - 600. A stucco head of the Buddha, shown with a calm expression, downcast eyes beneath arched brows, a straight nose, and closed lips. The hair is arranged in wavy striations swept back from the forehead and gathered into a central topknot. The ears are elongated with long pendant lobes.
