Ca. 2250 - 2000 BC. A large terracotta bowl with a wide circular opening and an everted rim above a rounded body on a low ring foot. The exterior is decorated with painted bands, the upper frieze showing elongated quadrupeds in procession, followed by a wavy band, the lower body left plain. Size: 190mm x 250mm; Weight: 2.2kg Provenance: From a private London collection; previously acquired in Paris, France; originally part of a private French collection based in Montpellier, assembled between the 1970s and 1990s.
