明 滿螺鈿黑漆庭園人物紋炕桌 The top is finely inlaid with a group of scholars and their young attendants in a pavilion and garden setting. The main scene is enclosed by vignettes of leafy foliage and key fret brackets on the tapered apron, which is decorated with additional scenes of figures and pavilions separated by an elaborate diaper band. Ming Dynasty period, 16th century.
