清 紫檀夔龍紋提盒 The rectangular tiered box meticulously constructed from fine, dark zitan wood of characteristic dense grain and deep chocolate-brown hue. Comprising three stackable trays and a cover, the box is secured within a sturdy carrying frame. The side supports are elegantly carved in low relief with archaic-style kui dragons, while the handle is further embellished with scrolling foliate motifs and reinforced with functional metal mounts. Qing Dynasty period.
