清 黑白玉臥牛擺件 Carved in the round as a recumbent buffalo with legs neatly tucked beneath the body, the head slightly raised and turned, rendered with rounded snout, bulging eyes, and stylized curling horns. The smoothly polished stone of mottled dark grey and creamy white tones is skillfully utilized to accentuate the contours of the animal, with subtle incision indicating the hide. The underside flat. Qing Dynasty period.
