Ca. AD 1750 - 1850. A bronze panel from a four-part folding quadriptych travelling icon, with a pointed arch, framed by a raised border and divided into compartments with relief scenes from the Life of Christ, from the upper left: The Presentation of Christ to the Temple; the Baptism; the Transfiguration; and the Entrance into Jerusalem, with a blue enamel ground. The long sides are fitted with projecting hinge knuckles. Size: 150mm x 93mm; Weight: 188g Provenance: Private UK collection; From an old British collection formed in the 1990s.
