定窯白瓷蓋盒 Of circular form, the domed cover finely incised with a beast amid scrolling foliage, the sides with continuous floral scrolls. Covered overall in a creamy white glaze with a soft sheen, thinning at the edges. The interior simply glazed, the footrim neatly finished.
