紅山 玉鴞形珮 The flattened pendant is deftly carved in the form of a stylized bird with its wings spread, the stone a luminous pale celadon hue with subtle russet inclusions. The head is defined by soft, rounded features above a broad body detailed with rhythmic, shallow grooves suggesting plumage. Pierced with a small aperture at the upper wing for suspension. Hongshan Culture.
