MAMLUK GREEN-GLAZED FOOTED BOWL

Ca. AD 1300 - 1500. A green-glazed footed bowl with a broad open body on a short foot. The exterior is moulded with closely spaced horizontal ribs, the interior with concentric turning rings beneath the glaze and three small protrusions around the central tondo. The foot is left unglazed. Size: 185mm x 105mm; Weight: 565g Provenance: Property of a West London gentleman; previously in a collection formed on the UK/International art market in the 1990s.
