A red-engobed terracotta jug with an ovoid body tapering to a flat base and rising to a narrow cylindrical neck with a thickened collar rim, with a single strap handle from the upper shoulder to the neck. Size: 420mm x 240mm; Weight: 3.9kg Provenance: From the collection of a London gentleman; formerly acquired in early 2000s in Japan; previously in 1970s Japanese collection.
