A pair of oil lamps, from left to right: a mould-made terracotta lamp of elongated oval form, the recessed discus pierced by a central filling hole flanked by double suspension loops, the shoulders with raised bands, the opposed ends with wick holes, and the base with impressed signs; and a cast bronze lamp with a rounded reservoir, a central filling hole within concentric mouldings, a short nozzle, and a crescentic handle at the rear. Size: 110-140mm x 50-65mm; Weight: 360g Provenance: From an old British collection formed in the 1980s; previously acquired in London.
