Ca. 100 BC - AD 200. A silver archer's arm guard formed as a curved sheet with an open back, fitted with wire loops at the upper and lower corners for lacing. The upper and lower margins and a central band are decorated with raised mouldings with beaded and punched ornament, the lower zone decorated with a register of concentric ring-and-dot bosses. Size: 160mm x 100mm; Weight: 140g Provenance: Private London collection; previously French art market 1970s/1980.
