Antique Chinoiserie lacquered and gilt decorated tea caddy displaying various scenes throughout and set atop (4) gilt and paint decorated carved dolphin form feet. Interior houses an ornately decorated hinged pewter box. From a Trumbull, CT estate. Dimensions: box measures approx. 9.25" w x 7" d x 5" h including carved feet. 品相： Box displays losses to lacquer and gilt decoration, missing panels/pieces, one foot is present but detached, one hinge is detached/requires new nail(s), pewter lining is missing the knob, etc. General wear consistent with age and use.
