ELEGANT GREEK BLACK-GLAZED KYLIX

Ca. 400 - 300 BC. A terracotta kylix with a broad shallow bowl, set on a short moulded stem and a spreading foot. The pair of horizontal handles extend to upturned tips. The exterior and interior are glazed black, with reserved areas at the handle interiors and around the foot. For similar see: The British Museum, Museum number 1856,1226.116.
