Ca. 550 - 400 BC. A collection of three terracotta bichrome vessels, including, from left to right: a jar with a squat body, a broad strap handle, a bird-head protome, and a strainer-spout, decorated with horizontal banding and geometric panels; a banded piriform jug with a broad mouth and a single handle; and a vessel with a strap handle, a bird-head protome, and a projecting strainer-spout, painted with panels of stylised plant motifs and a ring enclosing a cross on the underside. Size: 120-220mm x 140-155mm; Weight: 1.3kg Provenance: Private London collection; previously acquired on the Belgian art market; originally in the collection of C D'hondt, Liege 1980?s.
