DAUNIAN TERRACOTTA KRATER WITH GEOMETRIC DECORATION

Ca. 550 - 400 BC. A terracotta krater with a broad flaring rim on a short neck and a globular body, set with two upright loop handles and two hand-shaped lugs at the shoulder. The exterior is painted in dark horizontal bands, with an arched panel around the lower body and a band of hatched lozenges at the shoulder.
