Ca. 400 - 300 BC. A red-figure olpe with a flaring mouth, a short, squat neck, an ovoid body on a moulded foot, and a strap handle with a knot. The main field is decorated with a left-facing head of winged Nike in profile, wearing a sakkos and a double beaded necklace, with the outstretched wings in the background, framed by scrolling tendrils. The reverse is decorated with a large palmette rising from a groundline, and a laurel-wreath band encircling the neck. For similar subject see: The British Museum, Museum number 1867,0508.1334.
