Ca. 800 BC - AD 500. A pair of stone seals, from left to right: an oval banded agate seal mounted in a copper-alloy ring with a narrow bezel frame, the seal carved with a horse in profile; and a dark stone stamp seal in the form of a truncated cone with a flat sealing face, engraved with a striding caprid above two smaller quadrupeds, with linear symbols disposed around the field. Size: 24-25mm x 22-23mm; Weight: 24g Provenance: Private Belgium Collection; ex Private English Collection, previously acquired on European market in 1960s.
