New Kingdom to Late Period, Ca. 1550 - 332 BC. A pair of alabaster jars, from left to right: a squat jar with a broad rim above a short neck and a rounded body on a flat base; and a tall jar with a flaring mouth, narrow neck and rounded shoulder, the tapering body terminating in a discoid foot. Size: 175-120mm x 80-100mm; Weight: 1.7kg Provenance: Acquired from a Central London Antique Shop; previously in a collection formed on the UK/International art market since the 1970s.
