Late Period to Ptolemaic Period, Ca. 664 - 30 BC. A faience amulet of Taweret standing upright on a small rectangular base. She has the head of a hippopotamus and a human-shaped body with a pregnant belly and pendulous breasts, the arms held along the sides and the legs terminating in leonine paws.
