Ca. AD 1100 - 1200. A silver ring with a pillow-shaped bezel. The central field bears a rectangular niello plaque showing a leaping deer amid scrolling foliage within a narrow raised border. The bezel is framed by gilded relief panels. The rounded hoop has small applied lugs and an incised, narrow band.
