Late Period to Ptolemaic Period, Ca. 664 - 30 BC. A pair of faience figures of Pataikos, each modelled as a squatting dwarf wearing a broad headdress, the arms bent with hands resting on the thighs, on an integral base. One carved as a double-sided figure with mirrored modelling to the reverse. Both are pierced for suspension behind the head. For similar see: C. Andrews, Amulets in Ancient Egypt, p. 1 - 30.
