Ca. AD 1250 - 1400. A copper alloy horse harness pendant, gilded and enamelled, of lozenge form with an integral suspension loop. The field with three small crosses in chief, above a series of horizontal bands. The reverse is plain. Size: 48mm x 35mm; Weight: 8.7g Provenance: From the private collection of an Essex gentleman; previously in an old British Collection, formed in the 1990s.
