Ca. AD 1250 - 1400. A copper alloy horse harness pendant, gilded and enamelled, with a transverse bar pierced at either end for attachment and a central hinge supporting a shield-shaped pendant. The shield is enamelled gules, with a fess between six cross crosslets or, arranged as three in a row above and three below, set two-over-one, for the Beauchamp family.
