BYZANTINE BRONZE RELIQUARY CROSS

Ca. AD 1000 - 1200. A bronze reliquary cross formed of two cruciform halves joined by a hinge with a suspension loop above. One face with five circular recesses, one at the centre and one at each terminal, within a hatched border.
