A matched pair of gold earrings, each formed as a hoop with a radiating fringe of seven granulated triangular points along the lower arc, the terminals set with rounded knop finials, and the tapering wire hoop ending in a loop catch. The collection was authenticated in the early 1990s by Dr. Jack Ogden and Barbara Deppert Lippitz, leading specialists in ancient jewellery.
