A matched pair of gold earrings, each formed as a hoop with a radiating fringe of seven granulated triangular points along the lower arc, the terminals set with rounded knop finials, and the tapering wire hoop ending in a loop catch. Size: 24-25mm x 22-23mm; Weight: 3g Provenance: Private London collection; previously part of a distinguished New York private collection, assembled between 1975 and 1995. The collection was authenticated in the early 1990s by Dr. Jack Ogden and Barbara Deppert Lippitz, leading specialists in ancient jewellery. A significant number of objects from this collection were also published in a professional catalogue.
