Ca. 1300 - 1000 BC. A large bronze fibula with a broad spiral plate formed from tightly coiled wire, the coils terminating at the lower edge above a rectangular junction for the spring and pin. The bow and catch are arranged as an open framework beneath, with a smaller spiral boss attached to one side on a short bracket. Below, a round suspension ring is bound with a coil and fitted with a fringe of multiple looped chain drops.
