Ca. AD 1 - 300. A silver whistle formed as a tapering tube with a domed cap, surmounted by a short knop. The tube is cut with an arched sound window to the front and a lateral mouth opening. Size: 48.4mm x 12.1mm; Weight: 14.9g Provenance: Private London collection; formerly in Austrian private collection 1980s-early1990s.
