Ca. AD 1550 - 1650. A rapier with a long, straight, double-edged blade, the forte with a deep fuller and a stamped mark. The hilt with a straight crossguard and button-ended quillons, fitted with an openwork guard. A leather-covered grip with raised collars, finished with a cap-shaped pommel.
