Ca. AD 1300 - 1400. A glazed ceramic bowl with a rounded body on a short foot and a thickened, slightly everted rim. The interior is decorated in sgraffito with a six-petalled flower with broad, rounded petals. The design is set beneath a wash of green and amber glaze. Size: 85mm x 185mm; Weight: 560g Provenance: Provenance: Property of a central London gallery; Ex collection of James Alfred Brew (1923 - 2008), collected in Cyprus during the 1960s. Thence by descent to Elaine Brew. This item has been cleared against the Art Loss Register database and comes with a confirmation letter.
