Ca. AD 50 - 200. An oval chalcedony intaglio engraved with Apollo standing in contrapposto, holding a bow in his outstretched left hand, his right elbow resting on a vertical support, all on a groundline. Set in a possibly later gold ring with a narrow oval bezel mount framed by a plain border, each shoulder with a single pellet, the hoop slender and of flattened section.
