Ca. AD 1300 - 1400. A sgraffito ware bowl with a hemispherical body on a low foot. The interior has an incised design beneath a pale green glaze, centred on a roundel divided into four segments, with yellow and brown washes across the field. Below the rim runs a frieze of triangular compartments, each filled with spirals and linear motifs, alternating with panels in green, amber and brown, all enclosed by concentric incised lines. Size: 60mm x 140mm; Weight: 295g Provenance: Provenance: Property of a central London gallery; Ex collection of James Alfred Brew (1923 - 2008), collected in Cyprus during the 1960s.
