Ca. AD 1300 - 1400. A sgraffito ware bowl with a tapering body on a concave foot. The interior is incised with a design of branching stems and pointed leaves, arranged around a central device of cross-hatched medallions. The decoration lies beneath a transparent honey glaze with brown and green splashes. Size: 90mm x 175mm; Weight: 530g Provenance: Property of a central London gallery; Ex collection of James Alfred Brew (1923?2008), collected in Cyprus during the 1960s, thence by descent to Elaine Brew Discovered in Elea.
