PAIR OF PHRIGIAN SILVER FIBULAE

Ca. 800 - 700 BC. A pair of silver fibulae, each with an arched bow modelled with three bulbs between collar mouldings. The round-section tapering pin is coiled at one end, with a broad catchplate decorated with incised lines. For similar see: W. Seipel, Das Artemision von Ephesos, Cat. 251.
