Ca. AD 1000 - 1200. A shallow silver bowl with parcel gilding, a gently curving profile, and a straight rim. The interior features a central raised boss enclosed by a broad gilt band decorated with foliate scrollwork. Four large gilt rosettes with incised detailing are symmetrically arranged around the central medallion, interspersed with smaller, similarly designed floral motifs.Size: 40mm x 150mm; Weight: 165gProvenance: Private London collection, acquired on the European art market pre 2000.
