Ca. 300 - 1 BC. A stamp seal with a circular matrix on a tapering, conical stem terminating in a cylindrical socket. The sealing face is engraved with a stylised beast in profile, with a long tail curling over the back. Size: 28.1mm x 22.3mm; Weight: 34.4g Provenance: Private central London collection; previously acquired on the UK art market before 2000.
