A collection of five gold appliqu?s including, from left to right: a circular plaque with a beaded border, a cross in relief and triplets of repouss? bosses in the quadrants; a circular appliqu? with a gorgon mask in relief; a plain rounded-square plaque with a punched border and two opposing perforations; a second circular gorgon appliqu? within a beaded border; and a circular rosette plaque in thin sheet, the petals in repouss? within a diagonally hatched border, with two perforations at the edge. Size: 14-17mm x 14-18mm; Weight: 1.96g Provenance: From a private London collection; previously acquired in Paris, France; originally part of a private French collection based in Montpellier, assembled between the 1970s and 1990s.
