Ca. 800 - 600 BC. A pair of gold appliqu?s, each formed as a rosette with six broad, flaring petals cut from a thin sheet. The central roundel is decorated with coiled wire forming a four-petalled rosette within a twisted wire border. The reverse is plain, with a soldered attachment loop. Size: 16-17mm x 17-17mm; Weight: 1.27g Provenance: From a private London collection; previously acquired in Paris, France; originally part of a private French collection based in Montpellier, assembled between the 1970s and 1990s.
