Ca. 550 - 500 BC. A pottery vessel with a broad flaring mouth above a short neck and a globular body tapering to a rounded base. The shoulder is fitted with two opposed vertical loop handles, set between two hand-shaped lugs modelled with the fingers in relief. The exterior is decorated in dark brown and reddish-brown paint over a pale ground with horizontal bands of varying width, a shoulder frieze of cross-hatched lozenges and vertical strokes, and a lower register of linked semicircles. Around the mouth, the upper surface is decorated with repeating arcuate panels.
