Ca. 900 - 700 BCA burnished terracotta jug with a broad, ovoid body decorated with an incised frieze of opposed triangles. The vessel is set on a short, slightly flaring foot and rises through a rounded lower body to a pronounced shoulder. A tall, cylindrical neck culminates in a wide, flat-topped, outward-flaring rim, and a single strap handle emerges from the shoulder.Size: 190mm x 175mm; Weight: 815g.Provenance: Private Australian collection acquired on the Swiss art market; Ex Coll.
